This week, we're headed all the way to Germany to chat with Charlotte about her experience using Urban Oreganics.

Skin History:
Prior to switching to Urban Oreganics, I suffered from severe eczema and adult acne. My skin was always burning, itching, broken out and scarred. I saw a dermatologist once about five years ago. I was prescribed a steroid (in cream and foam form) after a biopsy, and after trying it for about a year I decided to stop using it because I didn’t like the idea of using topical steroids as a long term solution. The cream was only a short term solution and didn’t solve the underlying issue for me.
I’ve also tried Lush, The Body Shop, Burts Bees, some Asian products and remedies, Origins, Neutrogena, CeraVie, Herbivore, Juice Beauty, Tata Harper and Badger Balm, the list goes on and on (I’ve had this issue since I was 12!).
The Switch:
I love the idea that the ingredient lists are so short, and I KNOW what they are. I don’t have to read the labels to determine if there are harmful ingredients that will irritate my sensitive skin and cause flare-ups. Not only that, but I love that UO does its best to source and package products/ ingredients as ethically as possible. We need more companies like UO!
The Cleansing Oil and Cleansing Grains have probably helped me the most. My current routine, however, is (almost) all UO products. My daily routine consists of Cleansing Oil, Refresh Cleansing Grains, Rosewater Toner, and Facial Cream with SPF. At night, I use the UO Eye Serum mixed with a night cream as a moisturizer. I have not had a SINGLE break out since, and all my scaly patches on my face and neck have disappeared! I’m also conscious of making sure I hydrate, keep my sugar intake down, and eat as clean as possible (I still indulge of course), and I’m sure that had a lot to do with the improvement of my skin. But, the one variable that has been a huge game changer for me in this past year has been UO. I’m so glad I found it!
I have not had a SINGLE break out since, and all my scaly patches on my face and neck have disappeared!
